Processed data and purposes (summary)
- Account: username, email, password (stored securely), display name, gender, and date of birth — membership, sign-in, and account security.
- Profile: optional bio, profile image, Aura and Persona preferences — for displaying your profile and personalizing your cinema identity. Gender is used for Aura matching; date of birth is used for profile and eligibility checks.
- Content: film reviews, ratings, private messages, support requests — to provide the service and community features.
- Social: follow relationships, notifications, optional activity indicator — for social interaction and platform experience.
- Technical data: session/server logs and cookies (asused) for security, abuse prevention, and operations.
Gender and date of birth are not shown publicly on your profile; they are processed only to provide and personalize the service. You can update them in profile settings.
Legal basis
Data processing may be based on establishing and performing acontract, providing the service, legitimate interest (security andoperations), or explicit consent where required. Official disclosuretext and legal review are needed for details.
Your rights under KVKK
Under Article 11 of KVKK, you have rights such as learning whetheryour data is processed, requesting correction, deletion ordestruction, knowing third parties to whom it is transferred, andrequesting compensation for damages. You can submit your requeststhrough the contact channel.
Retention
Data is kept for as long as the service requires and legal obligations allow; when the period ends, it is deleted, anonymized, or no longer processed. When you delete your account, your profile is hidden; reviews may remain in anonymized form for community integrity.
Third parties
Public data from third-party sources (e.g. TMDb) may be used forcontent such as film information. If trusted providers are used forservices such as email delivery or hosting, personal data transfersshould be explained in the disclosure text.
